THE PRICE IS RIGHT

I’m not sure why, but there seems to be a serious misconception that home staging is expensive. I’m here to tell you that nothing is further from the truth. First of all, according to stats and facts on home staging, you will see that professionally staged homes sell faster and for a higher price than those not staged. Staging also addresses potential concerns of buyers that could lead to reduced offers. Staged homes are better presented online (where over 90% of buyers start their search) thereby attracting more showings, which will lead to offers and getting the home sold quickly. The value in that alone is immeasurable.

Since I first started my business almost two years ago, I have been offering the initial consultation at $69 plus tax, and quite often offer discounts as well. This consultation is 2+ hours long and is very in-depth, addressing everything both inside and out (because curb appeal is a huge part of staging as well). I will leave you with a full report suggesting what needs to be done to present the home at its best – whether it requires updates, repairs, paint, de-cluttering, de-personalizing, cleaning, etc. The aim is for you to do your homework based on these suggestions and then have me back to do the final “showcasing” or “staging”. This is not just fluffing pillows and adding a few accessories…it consists of addressing furniture layout, lighting, flow, and general over all appeal. The aim is to keep costs reasonable by using what furniture and accessories already exist, downplaying the negative features and highlighting the positive points, transforming your home to make it more inviting and memorable to prospective buyers and enticing them to make an offer.

I can do as little or as much as you want — it is entirely up to you and what your budget will allow for the services you choose. I can be hired to do the prep work at an hourly wage or paid to liaise with contractors, painters, etc. to get the job done. I have fee packages based on several different scenarios and every one of them is designed to give you, the seller, the best bang for your buck possible. A few hundred dollars now will save you Time, Money, and Stress as you enter into the real estate market. I guarantee you that the cost of my services will always be much less than the amount of your first price reduction.

I also have a few real estate agents that will pay for the initial consultation if you list with them, and some that are willing to reimburse you ½ of the total fee if you follow my instructions and complete at least 75% of my suggestions in the report.
